Here at Fortunate One HQ, we love exploring and are always ready for a new adventure. This time, we decided to do something a little special and take you and our amazing model Alex Davidson to one of our favourite local spots: North Bondi. It feels like a second home, a small town where everything is possible. Go for a matinal surf, practise yoga on the beach, meet with your friends for breakfast at the nicest cafes or shop fresh local food at the market. This is the bubble we wouldn't mind being stuck in!

How would you describe yourself in 5 words?

HILARIOUS, passionate, vibrant, witty & spontaneous.

Where is your favourite place in the world?

This is a tough one! I love being home with my friends and family but if I had to choose somewhere other then that it would probably be Portugal!

Best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

Be yourself no matter what! Stay true to yourself, you are beautiful as you are.

What are your goals for 2020?

I haven’t thought of this much yet but I know I want to keep heading in the direction I’m going in and surrounding myself with uplifting people that bring the best out in me.

What is your night-time routine?

I always make myself a cup of English breakfast tea with honey. I love laying down and spending an hour on social media catching up on the day and then I would do my skincare routine before heading to bed.

What calms you the most?

I find that being by myself and just taking deep breaths with no technology and just living in the moment helps me to calm down if I’m stressed. Also, I LOVE my aromatherapy diffuser and I literally put it on all hours of the day!

What’s your best advice to be happy?

Honestly at the end of the day, DO WHAT YOU LOVE! If you find something you are passionate about and you love doing it GO for it! Stay around people who are kind and supportive. I just honestly think your whole perception on life can change depending on who you surround yourself with.

What is your favourite activity?

I love going on holiday, just relaxing, reading a good book and tuning out altogether! It is so important to have time to yourself to recoup.

What are you excited to do on the weekend?

This weekend I have no plans yet which is exciting! I would love to head to the markets on Sunday morning to pick up some fresh produce for the week and have an acai bowl or something delicious for sure!

Who inspires you the most?

I have an endless amount of people that inspire me each and every day, literally family & friends keep me going for sure. If I had to choose one person, it would be my pop! He was the kindest and most loving soul I’ve ever known and pushed me to be the best I could be always. 

Where is your favourite local spot?

 There is definitely a few! Probably a little spot where a few locals have set up a lounge overlooking the whole of caves beach in Newcastle, it’s something special.

If you could live anywhere, where would you live?

If I could live anywhere it would have to be Greece 110%! Everything is literally so chilled and relaxed and time is not an issue at all. In their culture, people are not strictly expected to be on time and I feel like that would be such a great weight to be lifted off your shoulders. And obviously I love the amazing scenery & gyros for €3, how good!

What is your secret beauty tip?

It would have to be an illuminating primer for sure! I find that my entire face will just be glowing all day long if I use an illuminating base underneath foundation and I love what it does to my skin!

What is your favourite Fortunate One piece?

This is question is so hard! If I had to choose one, it would be the Cowboy Midi Dress Pink that I shot in with you guys. It was so comfortable and I felt like a real-life angel in it!
